Additional Responsibilities Include:
- Researching industry trends and participating in the day to day work associated with the service line
- Participating in drafting of proposals and analytical reviews
- Assisting with deliverables to clients in various phases of the project
- Collaboratively working with team members while building rapport and strong relationships
- Assisting with business development opportunities
What are we looking for in an Intern?
Interested candidates should display an affinity for learning and problem-solving skills. Interested candidates should be self-starters and should demonstrate strength in or a desire to build skills related to Grant Thornton’s core values of: Collaboration, Leadership, Excellence, Agility, Respect and Responsibility.
Desirable Qualifications:
- UAE National
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics and related fields
- Proficiency in more than one language is a plus
- Willingness to work additional hours and travel to various client sites (as needed)
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
- Excellent analytical, communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
- Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Effective project and time management skills for handling multiple priorities and simultaneous projects
- Enthusiasm to learn through a combination of structured, on-the-job and self-directed training
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a complex team environment with strong attention to detail
